On behalf of the Yews Community Centre (Haywards Heath), thank you Mark for all the work you have done to help us maintain, repair or rebuild during the short time (just 18 months) you have been volunteering with us. The Board, Shirley and Tanith (in the office) are most grateful for your willingness and enthusiasm to get stuck in, as well as being a great team player. I, Richard, very much looked forward to the next task and working with you. Your encouraging and friendly manner, not forgetting your comprehensive set of tools and efficient use, have got so many jobs done, and your frequent suggestions to try another way were often accepted as the best ‘fix’! You have been a breath of fresh air and a most welcome and liked addition to the team. We will miss you Mark.

Good-bye, Mark. I will miss our long discussions about sport, music, politics and everything else that we felt was important at the time. And I'll miss our adventures on the ski slopes. But I'll keep the good memories of the times we spent together, although I wish there could have been more of them.
