Messages of condolence

My Dad, David, used to enjoy his chats with Gwen, usually after golf on a Thursday. She was very friendly and welcoming. So sorry for your loss. Jo and Tim

Mr Tim Houghton

Gwen and I spoke on the phone every few weeks - we laughed and talked, and will be so missed by me. Brian and my husband Tony were cousins and great friends. My love to all the family. Pauline

Mrs Pauline Noble

Fond memories of Gwen, particularly when I was a teenager and spent some summers in Lindfield with her parents. Gwen was then already married to Brian, who came from Totnes, and we shared an interest in cricket. I remember visits across the road to the Fair, and Gwen and I even went to an Elvis Presley film at the cinema in Haywards Heath! She and Brian were always very good in visiting our family in Dartington, particularly after my father, Frank Clake's, early death.
